The slanted rim
Why is the rim cut at a slant?
Every ANGLOVIA tumbler has its rim cut at a 15° slant with a polished metal lip, so the front edge sits lower than the back. You drink from that lower front edge and sip with your head level instead of tipping it back. It also means the tumbler stands on your desk or table like a small sculpture rather than just a plain cylinder.
Do I have to tilt my head back to drink?
No — that is the whole point of the slant. The lower front edge meets your mouth where it already is, so you keep your head in a natural, level position while you drink.
Does the slant make it spill?
We will be straight with you: our lids are not sold as leak-proof, spill-proof or splash-proof, and the slanted rim does not change that. Keep the tumbler upright, close the slide or flip lid when you are not drinking, and it will behave the way you expect. It is also why we do not suggest carrying an open tumbler around in a bag.
Where can I see the slanted rim up close?
Every product page carries a close-up photo alongside a studio shot in midday sun, a second angle, a beach scene and one photo per color. The beach scenes include props such as drinks, towels and sunglasses — those are not included with your order.
Sizes, lids and swapping
What sizes and colors do the tumblers come in?
The Angled Insulated Tumblers come in 14 models from 10 oz to 40 oz (300 ml to 1.18 l), with slide, straw, sip and flip lids. Colors are Coral Punch, Lagoon, Sunbeam, Flamingo, Seafoam and Night Swim, and the small pieces also come in Party Mix and Tide Mix. Color names are always written next to the swatch, never shown by color alone. The full range is 42 products from USD 20 to USD 96.
Which lids fit which tumbler?
Lid packs are shaped for the 15° rim and fit the Ø 8.5 cm slanted rims. Quencher 30 and Big Sip 40 come with their own straw lids. There are four lid packs — slide, straw, flip and a sampler.
What can I swap onto my tumbler?
The small pieces: straw toppers and straws, sleeves, lid packs and carriers. Every one of those pieces has a single edge cut at the same 15° — the Slant Cut — so the rim, lid, sleeve top, topper face and carrier tab line up with each other.
Will I see the capacity and size before I buy?
Yes. Every product page shows capacity in ml and oz, size in cm, what is in the box, the available colors, the material line, care, product safety information and the responsible operator.
Hold times and materials
How long does a tumbler keep drinks cold or hot?
We do not publish a hold time yet, and we will not guess one. We publish hold times only once we have measured them for a specific model, and none are published so far. When we have real numbers, they will go on the product pages.
What are the tumblers made of?
The tumbler body is double-wall insulated with a matte powder-coated outside, and the slanted rim has a polished metal lip. The metal grade is being confirmed with our supplier, and the food-contact documents are available on request by email.
What about the lids, straws, toppers, bands, sleeves and carriers?
For lids, straws, toppers and grip bands, material details are available on request. For sleeves and carriers, the material is fabric and fiber content is available on request. Email us and we will send what we have.
Do you call your products BPA-free, lead-free or non-toxic?
No. We do not call anything BPA-free or lead-free unless its own documents say so, so we leave those words off the site. If you need the food-contact documents, ask us by email and we will send them.
Care and safety
Can I put my tumbler in the dishwasher?
Hand wash is what we recommend, and we do not promise dishwasher use. We would rather tell you that plainly than have you find out the hard way.
Can I put it in the microwave?
Never. Do not microwave a metal tumbler.
How do I look after the matte finish and the polished lip?
Wash by hand and treat the powder-coated outside like any matte finish — it is there to be used, not scrubbed. Our full care notes are on the care page.
Safety: straw toppers and straws contain small parts. They are a choking hazard, not for children under 3, and not a toy. Our tumblers and small pieces are not children’s products. Do not drink hot liquids through a straw.
Are the straw toppers safe for young children?
No — they contain small parts, they are a choking hazard, and they are not for children under 3. Please treat them as an accessory for adults, not as a toy. The same applies to the straws themselves.
Can I drink hot drinks through a straw?
No. Do not drink hot liquids through a straw.
Prices, currencies and taxes
Which currency will I pay in?
The price follows your delivery country: USD for the United States and Canada, GBP for the United Kingdom, EUR for the eurozone countries we ship to, and DKK, SEK, NOK or CHF for Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. You can switch the country and currency in the header at any time. Every price is shown with its ISO currency code.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
For customers in the United States, prices are shown in USD and exclude sales tax; where we are required to collect sales tax, it appears as a separate line at checkout before you pay. For customers outside the United States, the price shown is the price you pay us, but your parcel crosses a customs border, so import VAT, duties or carrier clearance fees charged by the destination country are payable by the recipient. If we know before dispatch that those charges apply, we tell you, and you may cancel free of charge. See Delivery and costs for the full picture.
How is shipping charged and how long does it take?
There is one flat tracked rate per order per country, and the current rates and estimated delivery times are listed on Delivery and costs.
Do you have discount codes, free delivery or sales?
No. There are no promotions, no discount codes and no free delivery offer. Gift sets are sold at fixed prices for the set, and the “Mix your kit” block on the home page is simply four single prices added up — there is no bundle discount hidden in it.
Payment
How can I pay?
You will see the payment methods available for your order at checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and PayPal may be offered when it is enabled.
Is my payment secure?
Payment data is handled by PCI DSS certified providers over HTTPS, and card numbers are never stored on our servers.
What will appear on my bank or card statement?
The descriptor is ANGLOVIA.
Are payment methods ever added or removed?
Yes, availability can change, which is why the checkout is always the authoritative list — the methods shown there are the ones that apply to your order.
Delivery
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to the countries you can select at checkout, which matches the currency list on the site: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the eurozone countries we list, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland.
How do I know my order has been sent?
We dispatch within 1–3 business days, Monday to Friday excluding US federal holidays. You get a dispatch email with a tracking number, and every order is tracked.
Can my order be split into more than one parcel?
Yes — sets in particular may arrive in more than one parcel, and that never costs you extra.
Where are parcels sent from?
Your dispatch confirmation tells you where your parcel was sent from.
Something arrived damaged. What now?
Email us photos within 7 days of delivery if anything arrives dented, cracked or with a damaged lid, and we send a replacement or refund it, including delivery. This does not limit your statutory rights.
Returns and damage
How long do I have to return something?
You have 30 days from delivery to return unused items in their original condition. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK also have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, and we extend that voluntarily to Switzerland. You can withdraw electronically at Withdraw from contract here, or email us.
Who pays for return shipping?
You do, unless the item is faulty, was damaged in transit or was the wrong item — in those cases we cover it. If you cancel before dispatch, that is free by email or through the withdrawal form.
Can I return a straw or a lid that I have already drunk from?
Under the withdrawal right, yes — straws, toppers and lids that have been used for drinking can still be returned. That said, if handling goes beyond what is needed to inspect the item, we may deduct the diminished value as the law allows. We aim to be fair about it, and we will explain any deduction before we apply it.
How do I start a return?
Email support@anglovia.shop first. Our business address is not a shop, warehouse or returns address, so we do not accept parcels sent there. We will email you the return address and the steps.
When will I be refunded?
Within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, and the refund includes the standard delivery cost. We may withhold the refund until we have the goods back or you have given us proof that you sent them.
