Privacy Policy

What personal data ANGLOVIA collects, why, who it is shared with and your rights in the US, the EU, the UK and elsewhere.

On this page

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit anglovia.shop or buy from us — angled insulated tumblers and the small pieces you swap on them: tumbler gift sets, lid packs, straws and straw toppers, sleeves and carriers — why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We handle personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection where it applies, and the US state privacy laws that apply to our customers, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Who is responsible for your data

The controller is PIRANI LIFE, INC., which trades as ANGLOVIA, a Florida profit corporation, principal address 1408 Northeast 17th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304, United States. Florida Department of State Document Number P18000064920, status Active. President: Danielle L. Del Sordo. Vice President: Brandegee C. Pierce. The filing is public record at search.sunbiz.org — search by document number.

The principal address is a business address only. It is not a shop, a warehouse and not a returns address: returns start with an email to us and we then send you the return address.

For any privacy question or request, email support@anglovia.shop or call +1 229 427 4574 (Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 US Eastern Time). We reply to emails within two business days.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and some of our providers process data outside the UK, Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where a transfer leaves those countries, it is protected by an adequacy decision — such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, including its UK extension, where the recipient is certified — or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK authorities, together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where it applies.

Where records are needed for a legal claim, or for tax and accounting, we keep them for the period above even if you have asked us to delete other data. When a retention period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Cookies and similar technologies

We only use cookies that the shop needs to work: the WooCommerce session and cart cookies, ag_lang for your language, the country and currency choice stored by our pricing plugin, and fraud-prevention cookies set by the payment providers at checkout when those methods are used. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. Whether you have seen the cookie note is remembered in your browser’s local storage (ag_cookie_ok), not in a cookie. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive the data you gave us in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

To use any of these rights, email support@anglovia.shop. We answer within one month, as the law requires, and usually much sooner. Using your rights costs nothing, and we will not treat you differently for it.

You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU, Norway and Switzerland you can contact the authority where you live — for example Datatilsynet in Denmark, Datatilsynet in Norway, IMY in Sweden, the data protection authority of your federal state in Germany, or the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland. In Denmark you can also take a consumer complaint to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, forbrug.dk).

If you are in Germany, the provider details German law requires (Impressum) are on our Legal Information page, and we are not willing or obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

If you want to cancel an order or return an item, that is separate from your data rights: see Returns and Refunds and our withdrawal form.

Your privacy rights in the United States (California and other states)

This section applies to customers in the United States, and describes the privacy rights we offer to every US customer, wherever you live. Customers in California have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and customers in other states with a comprehensive privacy law have rights that are broadly similar; we handle the same requests in the same way.

We do not collect any category for the purpose of advertising or profiling, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit it beyond the account log-in purposes described above. We keep each category only for the retention periods set out above, and we disclose the categories only to the processors listed above.

We do not sell or share personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not have advertising or analytics cookies and we run no tracking pixels. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing, and we treat a GPC signal from your browser as a valid request on your behalf. You can read more at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Your US rights

  • Right to know and access. You can ask us what categories of personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, who we disclosed it to, and what specific pieces of information we hold.
  • Right to correct. You can ask us to correct personal information that is wrong.
  • Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to the exceptions the law allows — for example records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons, and records needed to complete a transaction or handle a warranty claim.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you can still send us an opt-out request and we will confirm it in writing.
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We only use account log-in credentials to run your account, so there is no other use to limit.
  • Right to a copy. Where the law gives you the right to a portable copy of your data, we will send it to you in a commonly used electronic format.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you goods, charge you a different price, give you a lower quality of service, or suggest that you will get a worse deal because you exercised a privacy right. We offer no financial incentive for personal information.

How to make a request

You do not need an account. There are two ways to send us a request:

  1. Email support@anglovia.shop, or
  2. Use the form on our Contact page.

We respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If the request is complex or we have received a lot of them, we may take up to 90 days in total, and we will tell you within the first 45 days if we need that extra time and why.

To protect your data, we need to confirm it is you making the request. We do this by matching the details you give us against our records — usually your name, the email address you used, and an order number if you have one. You can also ask an authorized agent to make a request for you. The agent needs your written permission to act for you, and we may also ask you to confirm directly with us that you gave it. We keep a record of the permission and of how we handled the request.

If you live in a state whose privacy law includes a right of appeal and you are not satisfied with our answer, reply to our email and ask us to review the decision. You will get a written explanation of the outcome.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing. Our payment providers run automated fraud screening when you pay; if a payment is declined, you can contact us and we will review it with you.

Security

The whole site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Payment data is handled by PCI DSS certified payment providers and card numbers are never stored on our servers. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to handle your order or answer your request.

Children

Our shop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or, where a US state law sets a higher age, under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Some of the small pieces we sell — straw toppers and straws — contain small parts and are a choking hazard. They are not for children under 3 and they are not a toy. Our shop is not a children’s product line, and none of it is sold for use by children.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
